ProCutX for Final Cut Pro X App Reviews

Definitely interesting approach to edit and ive started using it exclusively good app. Needs a few tweaks, white balance is off but other than that, great app

Works well. I hope the developer makes identical for FCPStudio 7 and Premiere. I need those as well :)

I love the extra control, works great

The interface looks great. I wish I could try it. I downloaded the app 2 days ago and I have still not received the email with the "awesome software" to allow OSX to communicate with the app. Right now I am vey disappointed and frustrated. I visited the developers website and I cannot find the OSX app on it. I sent a customer support request through the contact page on their website without a response yet, although I have probably not allowed a reasonable amount of time for a reply. I hope I can eventually change this review to reflect a more positive experience because the concept seems awesome.

This app is great. It is so easy to use and is saving me lots of time during editing. Also I love their plugins, I have been buying all of them.

The buttons make a clicky noise when you push em, thats about it. The shuttle kinda works. Maybe if they spent less time making awful throw away pro effects garbage they could make one or two of their 900 apps not crap? Just a thought....

Never got the software you have to email them for. They also dont respond at all. Be wary of all the positive reviews.

Does it do ANYTHING?

I got this thing to work last night after. I think whats happening is a lot of you arent downloading the rest of the software. There is extra software needed to go on you computer to make the program connect. Theres a little lag, but nothing serious. I hope to experiment with it more in the coming days.

You downloading app but its not gonna work without software that you suppose to instal on your computer. To get this driver you need to send your email to developer but you not gonna receive any answer. That what happened in my case.

So far this is an excellent addition. If its not working for you make sure to read the directions. 1) Download app. 2) Open app. 3) Give it you email to send Mac install instructions and software download link. 4) Download insulation package 5) Install keyboard commands (directions in email) 6) Run sever program 8) Use and enjoy

NOT SURE what the problem is that everybody else is having, but IF YOU FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS - STEP BY STEP…you shouldnt really have a problem…what I would maybe suggest would be an instructional video oe demo that would assist in the How Tos of the software…that MIGHT be a help to some of the others…But for ME…it worked seamlessly! Id honestly give it 4 stars!!

This app doesnt work. You have to download it on your computer. So open this app and press the i on the bottom left. Then give your email address and press send. Then open the email an download it on your computer

I was hoping there’d be something like this and I’m a huge fan of PFS and stumbled upon it on their site. Pretty awesome! However, I suggest you widen the buttons with brighter and more distinct logos for each button so they’re more easily recognized. Also, the wheel would be more functional if it weren’t a wheel at all, but a “timeline" that ran from left to right so it would be easier to scroll through the footage. Hope this review helps.

I managed to get the app to connect to my computer but unfortunately when Im in FCPX and i want to use this app it keeps opening FCP7... Not sure how to fix that!

I want to start by saying I never review apps, however this app needs the review! I wanted a simple control surface for Final Cut Pro and this was it!!!! This app is awesome, all it takes is to download the app, follow the instructions to get the software for your Mac and install the software on your Mac. Once youre done installing on iOS and Mac open both the Mac and iOS apps and then Final Cut Pro X, once you see on your iOS device that the connection is made with your computer you can jog with the jog wheel, cut with the blade or perform a ton of different actions via your newly configured control surface! All of the negative reviews are people who cant read the words on screen in front of them, also if you didnt get the email they send check your spam folder and if no luck there go to the developers website and download it directly!!!!!

This app really wasted so much of my life, and after I decided I didnt want this, which for one, it literally does nothing, it took me 4 hours to figure out how to remove it from my Mac. Actually, its still in my Final Cut Key Commands options, so Im stuck with this scare unless I do a restore. Literally hurt my feelings that this is allowed in the App Store, total security issue.

Wait do you have to purchase this app?! Because right when I downloaded it, I opened the app and it say "thank you for purchasing this...etc. My parents pay for my phone bill will this directly show in the upcoming bill?!
