Not working, just Spam

I cant Tell, how its working, because I didnt get the server software for my Mac. I had to enter my email to get the download. Instead of the software I got Spam. Every day...

So bad

So bad wast of money want me to go on I still have 5939 characters left

Pretty good

Its okay but I cant see myself really using it too often. Im stuck in my ways, I guess.

Email code takes forever

I ordered this on Friday and its now Sunday and still no code emailed to me (which is necessary for it to work with FCPX). Not impressed so far with that delay especially when the app is priced at $24.99

Waiting for update

Have not been able to work with this yet, it only works with OS 10.7 and up. It doesnt say this anywhere until you go to their web site to find out why it isnt working. I have sent an email but no response yet. Not acceptable. My advice now would be to wait a while before getting it.

Not connecting after doing instructions top to bottom

Did everything the instructions say to in the Mac OS download file. I am running latest Mountain Lion, on an iPad mini with latest OS, running the latest Final Cut Pro X, did the custom keyboard commands and made sure it was selected... Tried creating a private network even... Nothing shows up in the Available ProcutX servers list on my iPad...

Problem

They never sent me link for server so I would give them a fail.

Works like a charm!

Get this app, it just saved me $1400 on a new console. I would recommend to anyone who wants to save some time and take there editing to the next level.

Dumb

This app is crap. It doesnt let you do anything!

Stupid

Its a dumb app nothing to do

Awesome!

Just because you dont know how to work it doesnt mean its not good! Come on guys, give it a chance!

Useful and time saving

I love this app. It saves me lots of time in editing.

Bad!

This app does not work and I hope Ill find a better one soon

Mr.

Waste of money!! Connection between Mac and iPad is quite casual ( in 50% connection fails). It demands installation of some "FinalCut Server" in system preference pane and this so called "server" causes crashes of system preference pane. This app crashes on iPad very often as well. The work with Final Cut using this app is IMPOSSIBLE!! Dont recommend anyone. Give me my money back!!!

FastForward?

Please add missed FCPX feature: fast forward (can be emulated by constant speed skimming, twice faster then normal playback).

Ottimo

Ottimo! Pure gratis!!!

This is sh**

Dont use this app

This app is a scam.

I agree with the previous poster that all of the positive reviews must be from employees as this app does not work at all. I have a brand new machine running a clean install of 10.8.2 and FCPX 10.7 and on the few occasions that I can get the app to connect to FCPX the interface does not control any FCP functions. The jog dial occasional will scrub the audio but does nothing else. This app is a complete scam. Whats worse is that they have no support available on their site - no FAQs, no forum not even a troubleshooting section so you cannot get any support from them. Stay away, and save your money.

Setup is a little more than expected, worth it!

I have a feeling the reviews of this app are affected by the setup. When you first open app, it asks you to send an email to get Mac side software. Do that! The pixel farm site has chat support as well. I didnt send the email through the app, and LIVE support had me fixed in seconds. Read the read me file, and do the setup. Works wonderfully with my iPad mini, and MacBook Pro Retina. Im running 10.0.8. This simplifies FCPX controls, and is responsive. Great app! Only button I wish it had was "inspector". The most used buttons are there, and this is a great companion for the program. Pixel Farm would be wise to do this for the other NLEs. I would buy Premiere and Avid MC versions if theyd do this. Like this far more than "edit-mote".

Getting closer, but not quite there yet

This app is a great step in the right direction of building a platform between iOS devices and a creative app such as FCP X. Installing and set up was easy and worked the first time. Using the app to navigate around an already completed session was straightforward. There was less than a second latency for scrubbing or playback. The audio "button noises" were a bit annoying but offered some vague sense of tactile feedback. Moving around the different windows in FCP X from the iPad felt cumbersome, the app is laid out in a way that makes sense in an organizational sense, but not really in an editing sense. (assignable buttons?) and the selecting the exposure or saturation buttons under color correction did not do anything. I think its great that the makers of this app put it out for free for a few hours and Im thankful Ive had a chance to try it at no cost. I hope those who paid for it before that point were compensated something. This app has the potential to bring forward some great interaction, but I think a strong revamp of the layout to how the hand rests on an iOS device would be helpful in making it more user friendly. (Think ShuttlePro) I hope they continue improving it as eventuallyI think they could have something effective and unique.
