ProCutX for Final Cut Pro X App Reviews

No tutorial. This needs a "no star" rating. Complete waste of time. Only does some things and you have to use the MAC for the other stuff. WTH is the point of this app anyway. Absolutely useless.

Apparently I need a Mac to use it. I really hate this idea!!

I purchased this item in 2013 for $39.99 and used for several months and loved it. However, after I upgraded to 10.9 it no longer worked. An expensive app that has never been updated to work with 10.9 and above. I wrote Pixel Film Studio several times and never heard back from them.

Even after successfully connecting, the app does not work correctly. Even worse, the helper apps on the Mac begin a loop of opening up FCPX and then giving FCPX focus. It literally prevents you from using your Mac or restarting it.

I was watching YouTube and I was looking in the comments and I saw that makemeblush02 uses this and her videos look VERY good, but when I downloaded it it wasnt for an IPhone it was for a Mac computer! Also when you open it there are just too many buttons to press and idek what to do

If you press a button it does not do anything it just makes a clicking noise.But I guess its fine if you make YouTube videos.

Looks cool, but system requirements for OS X 10.7 and 10.8 are way out of date. Afraid to install this on OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

I did install the software, hoping that the driver had been updated and that the label for the link was just dated, but I was wrong. In OSX 10.10, it installed and connected to the iPad version. The rotary controller moved the play head, but only at dead slow and no buttons worked. The server preferences did not show up in the System Preferences at all. I guess thats why they reduced the price for the iOS version to free! Odd how they let me set it up on my iPad, send them an email and still sent me a link to the OSX driver as if everything was current. I hope AppCleaner took it all out! — UPDATE — AT 10:52 pm, last night, I sent Pixel Film Studios an email asking if they planned to update their app. Less than 12 hours later, I actually received the following response. "Hi Ray, We hope to have a working version for 10.10 up soon. Thanks for the feedback. Let us know if you need anything else."

i tried to use this qpp for youtube but it literaly does NOTHING!!! I clicked all the buttons and it did absolutely nothing and it wasnt frozen cause the button turned dark when i pressed it but it gies back to normal who ever made this app did not think it through so well this app deserves 0 stars

How does pressing buttons and making them click and then spinning a little disk around a video editor?! Im so confused?!

This app is so complicated it is so hard to make videos u cant even post it on YouTube without a device I reccomend u dont but this stupid app

If you follow the step by step instructions, everything will work. Its a great app! It works without lag on my Mac. I never rate apps but I had to since I saw negative reviews. Just follow the instructions guys. So glad this app is free, even if it wasnt Id buy it! Thanks a lot! Happy editing!
